The company attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation. It has won one First‑class Award of the National Technological Invention, one First‑class Award of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and one China Industry Award, as well as six Second‑class Awards of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. It holds 580 authorized patents and has been recognized as an innovative enterprise of Sinopec. Its production technologies for caprolactam, lithium‑based thermoplastic elastomers, epoxy resins and propylene oxide are all globally leading with complete independent intellectual property rights.
The enterprise has successively received honorary titles including one of China’s first‑batch National First‑Class Enterprises, National Civilized Unit, National May 1st Labor Certificate, National Advanced Grass‑roots Party Organization and National Outstanding Enterprise for Ideological and Political Work.
